Music Festival Opens With 300 Registrations At Panhandle
The Panhandle Music Teachers Association opens its annual festival at First Christian Church with Howard B. Dill of Amarillo College as voice judge. Over 300 registrations by students and teachers from across the Panhandle, with judges from Tulsa University, Colorado College, and Texas State College for Women. The event emphasizes artistic standards and educational value, continuing today and tomorrow amid strong attendance. The British Boxing Board bans fight broadcasts saying they hurt attendance.
