Mrs Myrtle Goff Hooks was charged with assault to murder after a staged revolver duel in a city drug store left Dr Ira Holcombe dead and H C Green mortally wounded. Green claimed Holcombe accused him of improper relations with the doctor's wife. Hooks posted bond at two thousand five hundred dollars.
