A frightened negro who left town after a beating following Borger’s April 6 city election was today’s star witness in the district court trial to determine if present commissioners may hold office. Two Killed Fifty Hurt in Montreal Garage Blast
Two firemen died and about 50 people were injured when two gasoline explosions tore the Laurier garage in Montreal. A minor blast preceded the fire, and a second explosion trapped firefighters.
