Pleads Guilty in Bank Robbery Case Near Carthage

Hale 36 confessed to the Bank of Oronoco robbery near Carthage on November 30 and was sentenced to 20 years. Police linked him to Clyde Barrow and a female associate, both fugitives. Barrow’s partner in crime Bonnie Parker and officers were involved. Hardy, one officer, is ill in Texas and not returned. Hale had been transferred from Waco, Texas, where he faced another robbery sentence.
