Braniff to buy nine turbo-prop airliners for 1959

A cold front hit Amarillo yesterday morning lowering temps by 10 degrees within an hour. The high reached 77 between 9 and 10 am, noon brought 63, and a 61 low followed in the afternoon. Skies cleared to clouds with no rain though hail 3/4 inch appeared south of Luobock. Chris Reich of the weather bureau cautioned rain chances may not stay low.
