Austin December 22 State Comptroller George H Sheppard said the Texas Bond Commission hopes to sell the full 2750000 authorized relief bonds after bids totalled 1017500 with more offers expected by mail He noted the legislature authorized 5500000 in bonds and the first block was offered to bidders and the remaining will be readvertised promptly He blamed lack of competition and noted bonds were approved by New York bond attorneys to boost market acceptance and urged larger buyers to bid on readvertisement.
