Borger Policeman Claims No Memory In Slaying Case

Borger officer says he has no memory of incidents connected to the late Tuesday slaying of Lee Hutson, Hutchinson County constable. The murder charge was filed at Panhandle, based onDeputy G L Warren’s report that Hutson was shot in the back as Hutson and Chapman rode in Warren’s car. Funeral services for Hutson are set for Borger First Baptist Church.

Counties to receive tenant farm loans in region 12

Secretary Henry A. Wallace announced that Wheeler, Floyd and Randall Counties in Texas along with Texas County in Oklahoma will receive Farm Security Administration tenant loans to buy farms under the Bankhead Jones Act.
