Infant Is Saved From Drowning By Mother And Firemen
A year old girl was saved from drowning after her mother Kathy Emmons pulled her from a filled tub. Neighbor Theresa Boles began artificial respiration as firemen and their respiratory apparatus continued treatment until a doctor arrived.

Police reported three youths chained 17 year old Earl R. Fryman to a tree in Metropolitan Park near Fairview Park, doused him with inflammable fluid and set him on fire. Ground Observers to Organize in Amarillo for Defense

Hammer Delivers A Telling Blow
In Burnley on December 6 an auction sale by J. H. Walton ended with the hammer falling as the floor sank six feet into a basement. About two hundred people fell. five ambulances ferried attendees to a hospital while several were treated for shock. No serious injuries reported.
