Special to the News from Tucumcari New Mexico reports two men injured while trying to board eastbound Rock Island freight trains in the same spot within 24 hours. W Tallman, 26, died after injuries and amputations. Frank Chafin, 72, of Climax Michigan, was dragged under a train. he remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Tallman had both legs amputated above the knee and below the knee on the other leg.
