Disabled Entitled To State Aid Now Available
State aid for permanently and totally disabled individuals may be approved under a new program funded by the Department of Public Welfare. Eligible persons must be helpless with no relatives able to support them, and the aid requires assessment of relatives’ resources. Local offices in Marfa Odessa Fort Stockton and Midland will handle applications and private physicians will be reimbursed for examinations.
