Mrs Avora Owens Brewster County treasurer was elected secretary treasurer of the County Treasurers Association of Texas at the 10th Annual Conference in El Paso September 18 20. Four Hunting Fines Assessed in JP Court
Four hunting violation fines have been assessed in Justice of the Peace W G Fielder's court since dove season opened Sept 1 according to State Game War den Sanford De Voll. Cases included killing a deer in closed season total 11750, possession of deer in closed season 11750, shooting dove from a car 4250, and shooting dove before hours 4250. All complaints were filed by De Voll.
