Alpine School Board moved its meeting to Central Cafeteria with about 25 guests. They formed a five member committee to study pupil transportation and report back. Tax collection contract approved with Mc Creary Huey. Enrollment rose to 1,327 with gains at all schools. Fire safety fixes approved for the old Central building. Bills totaling 12,923.58 were paid.

Courthouse to Close Saturdays in Brewster County
