City Endorses Water Plan And Building Upgrades
The City Council approved a resolution backing the West Texas Chamber of Commerce water plan. City Attorney John Allen will attend a water hearing in Lubbock with WTCC director Hugh S. White. The council also approved brighter street lighting on Avenue B and Cockrell, asked the General Services Administration for a $25 rent increase for the Border Patrol building, and accepted Storey Whiteside’s $607.50 bid for a new City Hall roof.
