Moisture visits the Hiland area with weekend rain
Moisture registered one half inch in Alpine over the weekend ending Sunday. A heavy fog lingered from Thursday night into Saturday, with rain falling Thursday night totaling 0.32 inches per Volunteer Weather Observer F. G. Walker. Rain was heavier north of here in Hovey country, while Marathon country and the area south of Alpine received no rain. minimum temperature for the past week was 34 degrees last Friday morning.
