A Sul Ross State College branch post office will open Nov 1 in the Administration Building basement with over 1100 boxes. Managed by Norilla Littleton, the Sul Ross Station will handle mail for students and staff, sell money orders and stamps, and process COD and insured mail, while Alpine processes the mail and delivers it twice daily.

Alpine Public Schools schedule two carnivals with Centennial event on Saturday Oct 27 and Alpine High School carnival on Halloween night Oct 31.
