Graveside rites for Dr Truman Harrison Etheridge 72 former Sul Ross State College dean were held at Elm Grove Cemetery Alpine after a funeral in El Paso. He died in El Paso Sunday after a long illness and is survived by his wife Cathryn Jo Etheridge two sons Charles Larimore Sr Odessa and Carroll Dean Los Angeles two grandchildren a sister and a brother. He held degrees from Abilene Christian College Texas Christian University and the University of Texas and served as a Church of Christ minister 1913 to 1962. He taught and led at Gunter Bible College Texas Christian University Sam Houston State College Sul Ross and Columbia Christian College and authored theology and education books.
