The fifth anniversary Armistice Day observance took place in Alpine college hall at 11 a.m. on Sunday with American Legion Big Bend Post No. 79, Auxiliary and Citizens in attendance. Allen, Morelock, and Perkins spoke on loyalty, education, and duties, followed by music, a hymn, and a closing Star Spangled Banner.
