Since hitting Delaware sand at 5100 feet it has produced gas, though no major shows to date. The bore will continue to Devonian at about 4500 feet.

Hereford yearling steer weighing 990 pounds, bred by Largent & Son of Fort Davis, was named reserve champion at the Kansas City Livestock Show. The animal was raised and fed on the Largent ranch near Fort Davis and brought to Kansas City by Russ Largent and Lindy Nidever.
