Johnson won the Senate race with 976 votes, Porter 341, Morris 9. Governor Jester took 1108 votes, Lane 136, Overholt 4. Amendments favored 910 to 167, 818 to 128, 889 to 138, 833 to 100, 879 to 78, 839 to 121, 683 to 237, and 567 to 380. County officers elected as in primaries amid ideal weather boosting turnout.
