Rev Clyde Chesnutt Jr is appointed minister of First Methodist Church Alpine by Bishop W Angie Smith succeeding Rev Kelly Scott. Chesnutt from Grove Oklahoma moved with family to Alpine and conducted services last Sunday. He holds a BA from University of Oklahoma 1954 and a BD from Perkins Theological Seminary 1957.
