Serious Injury Delays Alpine College Opening Ride Crashes Near Residence
Sunday afternoon James Derrick and several boys were riding near the Benj F Berkeley residence when his pony slipped on a cement walk. Derrick was dragged about 20 yards, suffered cuts but no broken bones, and is recovering. Alpine prepares for Sul Ross Normal College summer quarter opening June 14, with a new $200,000 school plant overlooking town and mountains, anticipating large attendance.

Harold Moyer Falls From Tree At Kokernot Springs
Miss Jettie Carr and third grade pupils picnic at Kokernot Springs when Harold Moyer fell about twenty feet from a tree. He fractured the left forearm, sustained scratches, and was taken home by Mr Retor with Dr Moore attending. He rests comfortably and is expected to return to school soon.

Jackson and Harmon Ship Steers to Fort Worth Market
