Marathon Oil Basin Drilling Up To Date
Alexander Syndicate reports DRI VING operations in the Marathon Oil Basin up to date. Wells include Hargus No 1 near section 38 block 4, five and a half miles west, drilling in black shale and lime at 874 feet and 2100 feet in limestone. Gage No 2 Hercules Development Co near Marathon, Skinners No 2 north of Marathon, waiting for casing at 1200 feet. Montgomery No 3 near section 6 block 1, awaiting blue shale ling. Wilson No was 1740 feet, Marillines at 2. Yarbol No 4 near section 128 block 22 nine miles east, gear waiting for material. Kokernot No at Hov of Twin Cities Oil Co reported 7300 feet casing. Hargus No 1 drilling black limestone at 2100 feet.
