Jackson and Harmon sold their Livermore ranch in a private deal to W T Jones and Jeff Davis County. The property comprised 12 320 acres and included 350 cattle. No public valuation or price was disclosed.
School Trustees Elected in Local Vote
The scouts election last Saturday chose trustees F. E. Gillett H. C. Atchison and W. F. White, with W. F. McGaughy failing to win a seat as only three were to be elected. The vote totals were 110 for Gillett 84 for Atchison and 82 for White. McGaughy received 62 votes.

Mothers Day Service at Methodist Church
The second Sunday in May is set apart by the Mothers Day Federation. The service at our church will feature hymns for mothers and a sermon by Pastor R. Evan. The choir will sing songs about mothers and celebrate the best fruit crop. Mr. Atchison notes peaches won prizes last year. Mrs. W.
