Boy Scouts Enter Field Day Events in Marfa
About 25 boys from Troops 41 and 48 in Alpine will compete in Marfa on Saturday in a field day with events like archery cooking and woodcraft. Alpine Band Announces Sunday Courthouse Concert

Sul Ross Dominates TIPA Meet In Nacogdoches

Joe Cobos, a 14 year old Alpine Mexican youth, died here Wednesday at his parents home from pneumonia that followed a bad influenza. Burial services were held yesterday with many friends and relatives in attendance. He was the sole son of his family.
