The Brewster County Camp No 491 W O W honors Sovereign A T Winder who died April 24 1904 in Alpine Texas at age 41. He lived a frontier life as a stockman and rancher with a devoted wife Eva Swan and four children, was praised for kindness intelligence and industriousness and is survived by his family. Hutchings Kansas men Slavens and Peck arrived to join the round up of twos bought from W W Turney and to take over Jim P Wilson and J M Rooney twos. Baer Brothers of Leadville and Charley Hunt of El Paso visited. Baer contracted for 1000 twos and closed another deal for 1000 twos with Jackson and Harmon. Dr. Coleman of El Paso inspected cattle shipped that day. The last 595 steers sold by A S Gage to E L Creswell were moved to William Nichols of San Bernardino and shipped to packing company feed lots. Jackson and Harmon sold lands to W W Turney totaling multiple sections for 91250 with additional quit claims valued about 1500. W T Henderson left for California. A S Gage's wife returned to San Antonio. G Miller arrived from San Antonio.
