Easter Sunday services in Fort Davis churches
Fort Davis observed Easter with sunrise devotions at Old Fort grounds led by Foster Granger, and services at Presbyterian Methodist and First Baptist churches. Baptisms occurred, choirs performed, and a cantata, The Thorn Crowned King, was presented at First Baptist. Rain later in the day affected plans and temperatures varied across Mount Locke.
