Building Big Dam Near Toyahvale By Railway Group
The 1. and Fr. railway group has started a large dirt dam project on Seven ranch near the Beau McCutcheon home, now Jimmie Duncan’s. They bought water rights in a major spring nearby and in Toyahvale stockyards. The dam will stand about sixty feet high and three dred feet across, faced with concrete with a concrete core already in place. A power shovel hauls dirt while a small crew handles the work. The dam will back up water for two to three hundred yards.
