All owners of town lots or estates in Brewster county must render their property to the Tax Assessor. Real estate not rendered by April 30 will be assessed on the tax rolls in the name of unknown owner. It is in everyone's interest to have property on the rolls in their name. If not rendered you may miss taxes due and pay extra costs, as the collector cannot notify you when taxes are due. I will call on each person to take assessment, but don’t wait for me to hunt you up.
