Onah Brown Rites Held At Alpine Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Una Brown were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church of Alpine with Rev. R. R. Reed officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park in Oklahoma City. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Bailey, a brother in Heinesville, and a sister in Fort Smith. Active pallbearers included W. John Newell, Ralph Gray, M. L. Hopson, Leroy Larsh, Grady Nelson, and Marvin Kay.

Cowboy Season Tickets Go Fast for Alpine Baseball Debut
Chamber of Commerce leaders Forrest Walker and Vin Davis lead a drive to sell season tickets for the Cowboys first professional baseball season. Box seats are 50 dollars, reserveds 40 dollars, with season savings and perks including a parking space per two tickets and guaranteed seats for opening day April 27.
