Aguirre Receives U.S. Information Service Spanish Scholarship
Aguirre Carrasco, 1903 Sul Ross State College graduate, earned a full graduate scholarship from the United States Information Service. He will join Indiana University Bloomington’s Linguistics department for advanced study starting September, after a decorated Sul Ross tenure with honors, dean’s list status, and leadership roles. He plans to return to Mexico to teach after completing his studies.
