Meixner Rite Held Sunday

Funeral services for Arthur L. Meixner 36 were held at 3 pm Sunday in the Firet Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Odell officiating. Masonic graveside services followed at Elm Grove Cemetery. Meixner died Friday night in Brewster Memorial Hospital from a gunshot wound. He was foreman of the 06 Ranches owned by H L Kokernot Jr and had lived in Brewster County 20 years. He served in Korea and was active in the Methodist Church Masonic Lodge Alpine Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion. He is survived by his widow two daughters Regina and Shayne two sons Michael Arthur and Hugh Frank all of Alpine his mother Mrs Henry Meixner of Menard four sisters and two brothers.
