Davis Denies He Is Klansman In Texas District Attorney Race
W M Davis candidate for district attorney of the 83rd Judicial District in Texas swears he is not and never has been a member of the Ku Klux Klan. The affidavit, sworn July 19 1928 before Notary Ruby Beaty of Upton County, says allegations circulated by opponents are false and that no Klan exists in the area.
