Sheriff Sale in Brewster County Texas for Alarcon property
On August 31 1949 in Cause No 80 36 A the City of Alpine State of Texas Brewster County and Alpine Independent School District recovered judgment against Guadalupe Alarcon for taxes penalty and cost. By June 25 1954 the Clerk issued an Order of Sale directing the Sheriff to seize levy upon and sell the described property as required by law. The Sheriff then seized and levied on the property of the defendant under the judgment and Order of Sale.

Trans-Texas Airways carried 12 320 passengers in June 1954, up from 6 704 in June 1953, an 83.8 percent rise, with passenger miles up 74.2 percent to 2 651 618. Six months totaling 62 546 passengers, a 49.9 percent increase, and passenger miles at 13 545 893, show continuing rapid growth as the airline claims the title America s Fastest Growing Air Line.
