Allebrand Pioneer of Duquesne Dies at 90
Charles W. Allebrand a Duquesne City Bank director and founder, died July 2 at his son J George Allebrand’s home in Marathon Texas. Born June 26, 1882, he helped start the local mortuary business in 1686 and served as a school director and bank director for decades. He leaves three other children, two sisters, a brother, and many grandchildren. Funeral services were held July S at the Allebrand Funeral Home with interment at Versailles cemetery.
