Alpine Chamber Luncheon Features Pulque Talk and Legion Paper
The Alpine Chamber of Commerce held its semi monthly Luncheon Club at the Holland Hotel with Miss Clemma Billingsley presiding and Col John Perkins leading the business program. Art Millican of El Paso sang solo and Miss Heden accompanied at the piano while Rev Joyner and Rev L R Millikan attended along with Dallas and Marfa guests. Billingsley’s talk on Pulque and a paper by Mrs M L Hopson on an American Legion Home sparked lively discussion and plans for the Tourist Park setback due to Casner’s health.

The State Senate has not introduced any resolution to remove the impeachment judgment against former Governor Jas A Ferguson. Opinion states no constitutional method exists to set aside the judgment, and removal should be pursued only through judicial channels.
