Seoul Korea home of a prospective registrar at Sul Ross State College Dr Robert Decker registrar says Bon Gul Koo plans graduate work in education in Alpine He earned a BA from Sung Kyun Kway University in Seoul before coming to the United States to study further.
Hill campus saw a large student registration in the Sul Ross College library as classes began Wednesday morning. Listed among registrants are Dot Jackson Sally Twing Nancy Beck and many others. The Lobos host games in the Sul Ross Gym starting at 7 30 p m with upcoming matches against Howard Payne Lamar Tech Stephen F Austin.
Nine area high schools Alpine Fr. Stock ton Crane Sanderson Ft Davis Imperial Presidio Van Horn Rankin will participate in a Shakespeare festival presenting tragedy and comedy scenes. Othello directed by Dr Katharine Boyd features Dan Shockey Desdemona Sharon Welch Ameli Webb Cassie Zona Gail Thompson and others with Sul Ross music department and talks on background by Dr Elton Miles and Dr F Allen Briggs. Sul Ross Library will display Shakespearean material for all students interested.
Everett E Turner head of the Range Animal Husbandry Department at Sul Ross State College received the PhD degree from the University of Wyoming His dissertation titled The Bovine Metacarpus Criterion of Meatiness is noted He has served on the Sul Ross faculty since 1 and headed the RAH Department for two years He also holds a B S from Sam Houston State College and an M A from Sul Ross College
