Ja ne has recently taken over the operation of a resort on the Rio Grande in southern Brewster County near Santa Helena Canyon. The property is owned by Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Dorgan and operates under the name Mexitex Lodge. W. J. Newell and D. C. Littleton were elected president and vice president of the Alpine Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting in the Holland Hotel.
