Nearly 100 chamber of commerce and Highland Poultry association members attended the Chamber banquet at the Holland Hotel where W R Glazener of A&M College spoke on Highland poultry prospects. Attendees from Fort Davis, San Angelo, Fort Worth, Marfa, Presidio and other towns praised the industry’s potential, while bank reports indicate Highland County remains financially strong with deposits nearing two million dollars at year end 1926.
