Hill Classes Start Back at Sul Ross After Holidays
Hill students began the spring term at Sul Ross with mixed spirits as holidays lingered in memory. The annual Christmas dance drew many couples, including Billy Farrington with Monty Jones and Maxine Cochran with Herm Hudson. Dances were held in Hancock Hall and Marfa with Four Star Westerners providing music, plus a New Year’s Eve gathering in Alpine featuring K K Fowlkes, Jim Skinner, Sara Rogers, Phil McGaughy, and many others. Several students attended events in Alpine and Marathon, and many Sul Ross attendees are planning marriages with rings already on some fingers and others to come this summer.
