Alpine area boasts new accounting partnership and local projects
T.B. Davis of Alpine and A Forrest Hope have formed an accounting auditing and income tax partnership with Hope handling the Marfa office. Dr W. E. Lockhart let a contract for a new Alpine hospital with 20 beds an operating room laboratory service rooms and the doctor’s office. C C Cowell is general contractor. Brewster County named Woodrow Epperson county service officer after his China Burma India theater service. Alpine post office receipts declined in 1945 to 29511.63 from 32436.02 in 1944 due to air field closure.
