Several divorce cases disposed. murder case postponed. adoption granted for Jas G Nolder and wife. hearings set for note foreclosure suits and plea of privilege. 91-year-old Piggott father and three children, all over 70, apply for old-age pensions.

City Drug Store Adopts New Firm Name City Drug Store
Patton's Pharmacy has changed to City Drug Store with P D Coulson joining Todd Patton and C E Slichter. The firm will move by March 1 to the former Alpine Drug Store quarters, expanding stock and offering school supplies, fountain service, prescriptions, drugs and sundries. Patton recently bought new goods in El Paso and will next shop in San Antonio.

Near Zero Weather Returns To Area After Cold Snap
A new cold snap pushed temperatures to eight above zero early Tuesday, marking the second time this winter readings hit that level. A dust storm failed to materialize into anything serious, leaving only a faint haze briefly. Temperatures moderated and rose on Wednesday after a chilly Monday night.
