Sealed proposals to construct 16.072 miles of graded highway and asphalt surface from Marathon to Big Bend National Park on Highway No. 227 in Brewster County will be received at the Texas Highway Department in Austin until 9 00 A M February 19 1947 and publicly opened and read This Public Works project falls under Texas legislative sections and is subject to applicable provisions.
The Contractor must pay wages not below the prevailing rate for each craft or type of labor as defined by the relevant acts. Provisions include local governing wage rates and holiday work rules for the locality where the work occurs.
