U S Rep Richard White and State Rep Gene Hendryx will be honored at a 7 p m appreciation dinner Friday Feb 12 in the Holland Hotel Ballroom Alpine. Tickets are 10 with reservations urged from local civic leaders and Sul Ross State College sources. White supports Sul Ross Big Bend National Park and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Hendryx is completing his second term and active in Big Bend projects.

Three Fined in County Court for Guilty Pleas
Three persons were fined in county court this week on guilty pleas. Hugh Cabot of Presidio County was fined $5 and costs totaling $32.70 on a hot check charge and agreed to restitution of funds. Everett Martin and Ronald Brown were fined $25 each, totaling $52.70, and given three days in jail on charges of willful destruction of property for knocking over signs on Fast Highway 90.
