Miss Kate Blakey Omney Dies After 87th Birthday
Miss Kate Omney Blakey, born February 3, 1841 in Walnut Grove Missouri, died last Friday at 4 m at her nephew L. B. Dixon’s home on her 87th birthday. A longtime Sunday school superintendent and teacher, she joined the Methodist church in youth and lived a faithful Christian life. Funeral at the Methodist church Saturday at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev C H Armstrong with large attendance.
