Keesey Kimball Appointed Charter Director in Hereford Auxiliary
Mrs. Keesey Kimball, named charter director of the Texas Hereford Auxiliary, attended her first Fort Worth meeting Jan 27 and was chosen for a National American Hereford Auxiliary Committee. The Kimball ranch is renowned for Herefords, with sons Keesey Jr. and others winning at stock shows across Texas and beyond. Local social notes include visits from Mary V Stringfellow and others, plus plans for the Marfa area International Soaring Meet next year. Weather info notes dark, cloudy, cold conditions with rain expected but not yet materializing. A West Texas Livestock Weekly clipping mentions John Miles receiving 980 Mexican Hereford calves at Eagle Pass weighing about 470 lbs, costing $29.25, with Creason-area cattlemen planning substantial wintering and gains by July. Prices remain firm.
