Alpine High gym on campus to be completed this year
Alpine Public Schools plan a King-size gym and band hall on the high school campus with foundations prepared and partial utilities in place. The theater and home economics cottage follow, while heating issues and water lines in the science and home economics labs pose challenges. The band heads to El Paso for the Sun Carnival parade and the district’s per capita state funds arrive to sustain operations.
