New Mexico lands opened under enlarged homestead act
Secretary of the Interior Lane extends the enlarged homestead act to more than 160000 acres in Guadalupe Roosevelt and Chaves Counties New Mexico. Effective January 11 1915 the lands classified as vacant public lands may be entered as 320 acre homesteads with local land offices providing descriptions and filing applications.
