KCMO Line to Pacific Nears Completion in Nine Months
The Kansas City Mexico and Orient railroad plans a 150 mile Sierra Madre link to connect Topolobampo to the Pacific with a nine month timeline. Over 70 000 ties already laid along the right of way as the spur reaches Sanchez Chihuahua state. The line will create a through route from Mexico west coast to the U S frontier and link Pacific and interior networks. The P&SF connects to Presidio and extends into Oklahoma Kansas and Missouri.
