County Officials Negotiate Quietly for Brewster Rights of Way

Brewster County Judge Felix McGaughy and Commissioners Lee Smith Rex Ivey Tom Yarbro and Robert Valadez work to obtain rights of way for new state highways. Landowners, mainly ranchers, often receive fencing and water lines in exchange for land. New rights of way include Lemmons Gap widening and the Marathon Fort Stockton road.
