Alpine District Interscholastic Meet crowns winners
Alpine High School led the 162 entrants from 14 teams at the Alpine District Interscholastic League meet held Friday and Saturday at Sul Ross State Teachers College. Marfa High won the boys track title. Alpine took the all around championship with 160 points. Individual winners included Mary Moss and Thomas Funk of Alpine in girls and boys singles respectively, with multiple podium finishes across events.
